If anyone knows of any public libraries or stores looking for something fun to do for a day this summer, send them my way! For the months of July and August I will take bookings for author visits. I am willing to travel across Alberta. For small, privately owned book stores, this is an excellent way to advertise your store. For public libraries, this is a way to draw in juveniles and their parents.
Dixonville Community Library, in northern Alberta has me booked for the afternoon of July 12th to help them kick off their summer reading program. I will spend some time talking about myself and the books, and will also provide some information on writing and publishing for those that are interested. I will be available to answer questions and also to sign copies of the books. If anyone in the area is interested in attending and would like further information, please email me. I am looking forward to being there!
In the meantime, I am still waiting for a quote from the printers and am working on formatting Saving London. I am anticipating one day at the barn with Lily this long weekend, which I am hoping will provide plenty of inspiration to help me plow through a few more chapters of the fourth book. I am hoping to have a name to release when I am finished writing my first rough draft of this story.

An Update on Reprinting
With less than 50 pages left to read, Saving London is nearly finished with the editing process, once again. By the end of the long weekend, it will be edited and formatted. At this point, I am also waiting for a quote from the printers to confirm costs. I am excited to complete this project, as I will finally be able to turn all my focus back to my sixteen year old Sarah and finish off the fourth and final book.
This upcoming week is quite busy, both work and personal life wise, but stick around. I'm also considering an addition or two to the website to make it more friendly for my readers. We will see what comes of that.
Hope you are all doing well and taking care!

Shelfari
I have used Shelfari a little in the past school year for my students, but today it finally dawned on me that, hey, why not create an account for the company? So onto Shelfari I took myself yet again. On top of my school account, I have a personal account and with that personal account I created a group for Pumpkin Head Publishing. I have added all the books I have read in the past year to my school account, and will now slowly begin to add books that I have read throughout my lifetime that I think readers who enjoy my Sarah and London series may also enjoy. I am trying to determine if there is a waiting period for establishing the Sarah and London books, and also the Pumpkin Head Publishing account, as they are not currently yielding results with the searches.
In the meantime, I am adding a link for anyone who may already have a Shelfari account so they can become a member of the Pumpkin Head Publishing group on there if they so desire. And if you don't have Shelfari and love to read, definitely check it out. I think this is quite the fascinating site!
I have also included my personal account shelf on the bottom of this blog so you can easily access it at any time. If you have an account or have created one and wish to add a title (Saving London, for example) from my shelf to yours, scroll over the cover image and hold it there for a moment. A window will appear allowing you add it.
And if you haven't already rushed off to look up this site, seriously, check it out! (PS - Click on the title of this post to get to the site!)
